IFOR StructureIFOR's highest decision-making body is its quadrennial Council. During Council, representatives from all IFOR branches and groups meet to make policy and set guidelines for IFOR's continuing work. Council is also where IFOR's International Committee is elected. The International Committee consisting of seven women and men carry out Council directives and policies in between the quadrennial meetings. Financial contributions from its branches makes up IFOR's financial basis. Different IFOR programs, such as the Women Peacemakers Program (WPP), may also receive core funding from other donor organizations. IFOR's International Secretariat is located in the Netherlands. It facilitates communication among IFOR's member, and supports branches and groups though trainings, international campaigns, delegations, and urgent actions. Since the 2006 Council, IFOR has adopted a gender policy. To look at the implementation of the gender policy throughout the movement, please see: Gender Policy adopted October 2006 Council.
